Ranata Reeder

Executive Director
Ranata Reeder is the Executive Director of the South Florida Community Development Coalition (SFCDC). There she leads the organization in its work to deliver equitable community development outcomes to the residents of South Florida through capacity building, policy, and strategic partnerships. Prior to her work at SFCDC, Ranata worked for Smart Growth America and its program Transportation for America in Washington, DC managing a national portfolio of policy, program, and technical assistance work in the areas of community development, economic development, and transportation. Ranata also led the City of Greensboro’s inaugural participatory budgeting process by providing community engagement technical assistance for capital improvement projects. Ranata earned her Master of Arts in Communication Studies with a focus on community based research from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Spanish from North Carolina State University.
