ADUs, Tiny Homes, and Airbnb

Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) are small dwelling units attached or detached to a single-family homes. They can be a great way to add dense, affordable housing to residential neighborhoods. Unfortunately, with the rise of online home rental companies like Airbnb, these formerly affordable housing units are being used as miniature hotels, reducing the overall supply of affordable housing. This workshop discusses what governments can do to make sure that ADUs make neighborhoods more affordable for everyone.
