Housing for Seniors

Two national organizations, National Church Residences headquartered in Ohio, and Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH), headquartered in Massachusetts, share what they are doing to address senior housing and explain how you can work with them in Florida. National Church residences is dedicated to addressing the intersection of housing and health; POAH is dedicated to the preservation of affordable housing. Together, they will share the state of the industry for constructing and preserving affordable homes and providing services for seniors to age in place. Learn about the funding for creating housing options for seniors and what policies and practices will positively impact the growing demand for senior housing in Florida. This session will combine policy and practice.
