At the TBRPC, CJ Reynolds directs the Tampa Bay Regional Resilience Coalition, which currently includes 29 local governments, and oversees the new Resilience and Energy Assessment for Community and Housing (REACH) initiative funded by JPMorgan Chase. The REACH Project is bringing together the region’s housing, resilience, and recovery planning experts to assess potential risks from extreme weather and sea level rise to communities and affordable housing, and develop new tools, strategies and policies to increase affordable, resilient housing development and redevelopment. Prior to joining the TBRPC, CJ was a research associate at the University of South Florida College of Marine Science and worked with scientists to conduct research projects and stakeholder engagement activities with local governments on climate adaptation and sustainability initiatives. CJ has extensive experience convening decision makers and stakeholders, conducting assessments, co-developing new resources and education programs. A native of Chicago, she has Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Northern Illinois University.
